Chiều 20/2, Ủy ban Nhân dân (UBND) tỉnh Bình Thuận, Ban Chỉ đạo tỉnh về phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ an ninh Tổ quốc (ANTQ) và phòng chống tội phạm, tệ nạn xã hội đã tổ chức “Hội nghị tổng kết công tác xây dựng phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ an ninh Tổ quốc và phòng, chống tội phạm năm 2023, triển khai nhiệm vụ năm 2024”.

Nhân dịp này, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Đoàn Anh Dũng – Trưởng Ban chỉ đạo tỉnh đã đến tham dự và phát biểu chỉ đạo tại hội nghị.

Theo kết quả ghi nhận được, năm vừa qua, bám sát nội dung chỉ đạo của Ban chỉ đạo Trung ương, Bộ Công an về công tác xây dựng phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ, Ban chỉ đạo tỉnh đã chủ động ban hành các văn bản chỉ đạo, hướng dẫn các sở, ban, ngành, Ban Chỉ đạo các địa phương triển khai, thực hiện nghiêm túc, có hiệu quả các giải pháp công tác xây dựng phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ. Công tác tuyên truyền, vận động các tầng lớp Nhân dân được thực hiện thường xuyên, với nhiều hình thức đa dạng, phong phú; công tác xây dựng, nhân rộng mô hình “tự phòng, tự quản” đảm bảo an ninh trật tự được chú trọng, đã có nhiều mô hình xã hội hóa, huy động được nhiều nguồn lực cùng chung tay xây dựng và hoạt động hiệu quả; việc xây dựng khu dân cư, xã, phường, thị trấn, cơ quan, doanh nghiệp, cơ sở giáo dục đạt tiêu chuẩn “An toàn về an ninh trật tự” được thực hiện có chất lượng, đạt tỷ lệ cao; công tác đấu tranh phòng, chống tội phạm và tệ nạn ma túy được chỉ đạo quyết liệt và đạt được nhiều kết quả tích cực; cùng nhiều thành tích nổi bật khác.

Phát biểu tại hội nghị, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Đoàn Anh Dũng ghi nhận những kết quả đã đạt được trong năm 2023 và đưa ra nhiều ý kiến kiến nghị nhằm tăng cường công tác xây dựng phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ và phòng, chống tội phạm năm 2024 trên địa bàn tỉnh. Đồng thời, biểu dương các tập thể, cá nhân điển hình tiên tiến đã đạt thành xuất sắc; đây là những nhân tố điển hình trong công tác bảo đảm an ninh trật tự tại địa bàn cơ sở cần tiếp tục phổ biến, nhân rộng.
